Website traffic dropped? Your gut says something's wrong. But your phone is ringing just as much as it did last year, maybe more. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. And it may not be the bad news it looks like. A new survey from Search Engine Journal, one of...
A Philadelphia marketing strategist, not a ticket number
Rhema Marketing has helped Philly service businesses get more calls and customers from Google since 2009. You work directly with the person who builds your strategy. No hand-offs, no junior account coordinators, no call center.
Why Rhema Marketing exists
Bob got into what everyone called “online marketing” back in 2008. He taught himself HTML and CSS and built websites for friends, mostly as a hobby.
Then a friend’s brother asked for a site for his window cleaning company. It was Bob’s first paid project, and it raised a bigger question: how do you get a website onto page one of Google?
Chasing that answer led him into affiliate marketing, where you only get paid when a page ranks and someone buys. There’s no retainer to fall back on. It taught him to judge marketing by one thing: does it bring in customers?
In 2009, he started Rhema Marketing to bring that standard to local businesses. Too many owners had paid an agency for months, gotten a dashboard full of numbers, and watched the phone stay quiet.
We do it differently. We measure what matters to you: calls, bookings, and customers. We explain it in plain English. And we never charge you for work you don’t need.
Built for Philadelphia service businesses
Our clients are the people who keep Philly running: contractors, plumbers, HVAC techs, salons, dentists, cleaners, landscapers, and solo owners who do it all. You’re great at the work. Marketing is the part of the business you trust least.
That’s fine. You don’t need to become a marketing expert. You need to show up when someone nearby searches for what you do.
How we work with you
- You talk to the strategist. The person who plans your work is the person who answers your call.
- Results mean calls and customers. Not likes, not impressions. We track inquiries, bookings, and where they came from.
- Scoped to your budget. No bloated retainers and no long contracts before we’ve talked. If you can do something yourself for free, we’ll tell you.
- Reports in plain English. Every month: what we did, what moved, and what’s next.
- AI-assisted, human-verified. We use AI to work faster and stretch your budget. A real person checks every fact and every word before anything goes live.

Meet Bob Coleman, founder
Bob has been building marketing for Philadelphia businesses since 2009. Before that, he worked in insurance, served as a Senior Settlements VP, and developed property. He’s spent his career on the business side of the table, so he talks about marketing the way owners think about it: in dollars, deadlines, and results.
He’s a lifelong Oak Lane resident, and in 2026 Rhema was named Best Marketing Agency in Oak Lane/Mt. Airy.
When you call Rhema, Bob picks up. He’ll look at your website and Google presence, tell you honestly what’s working, and show you a couple of fixes you can make yourself before anything is for sale.
What Philly business owners say
One thing you can check today
Search Google for your business name. Look at your Google Business Profile — the box with your hours, reviews, and map pin. Are your hours right? Is your primary category the service you most want to sell? If either is wrong, fix it today. It’s free and takes 10 minutes.
Let’s talk about your business
Tell us what you do and where you work. We’ll show you where you stand on Google, what we’d fix first, and what it would cost. No contract until you’ve read all of it.
